My main gripe with Ganson is that the game becomes all about him when he refs, especially on TV. If he's not the centre of attention he contrives to break his communication set so that the camera focusses on him, or he'll give an outrageous penalty to incur the wrath of the crowd.

Shame really as he's a pretty good ref otherwise.

The players NEVER EVER do anything wrong

Never said it the hypothetical penalty shouldn't be awarded - it's the way Ganson does it to draw attention to himself that gets on my nerves.

He's ok, none of them are great but at least he's not afraid to make decisions.

So there was a clear breach of the laws requiring a penalty, and Ganson duly awards the penalty.

But he does it in a way that... what? No, you've lost me.

Is it just me or has no-one else noticed that ref's are ok as long as decisions are going against the opposition, when they're given against "our" team then the ref is inevitably w@nker, funny that.

It's just because he comes from St. Helens and we know how you all hate Saints.

By the way - He is the best ref that we have got at the moment.

Because he doesn't think he should pay for his boots.

Because he's a Saints fan and he ref's Saints matches. Conflict of interests anyone?

The most inconsistent ref there is also. See's what he wants when he wants and all he's bothered about is Ganson. Can’t wait till he retires. We can all pray he get’s caught doing Long in the betting shop!
