There's plenty of taxi's from outside the station, which if there's a few of you will probably work out easier/cheaper than a bus.
The nearest train station is Cottingley, but the service is very infrequent on a Sunday, and it's about a 15 minute walk from there to the ground.
Other than that, there may be special buses running to the mini-bus station at the ground, but I've not heard anything yet. The service buses to Morley (51/51A) take you right outside, and they depart from outside Leeds Market, which is a 5/10 minute walk from the train station.

What's the best way to get to Elland Road from Leeds station? A few of us are heading over from Donny and sorting out arrangements
Its about a 20 minute walk throgh some "nice" areas of Leeds where women with teeth missing offer you services... so iv heard ... if you want to take that route. Me and my Aussie mates did it for the WCC back in 05.
Busses are also being layed on from 4 straight to the ground too from the city centre so that will probably be the best option. £2.50 for adults and £1.25 for Kids.
Quote:First Bus will be running a shuttle buses from Leeds city centre, from a new location on Sovereign Street to the ground and back after the game. The service starts 2 hours before the kick off, which in this case will be 16.00hrs. There is not a specific time for the special buses to finish, however it will be when the majority of the crowd have gone. There is also a local service but as it is Sunday it will be limited. The cost of the tickets is Adult £2.50 return, Juniors £1.25 return.

At least you'll have an excuse to give the police this time
How can the police be invovled? I didn't know it was illegal to hire a Beeston Tour Guide for an hour or so. What we do with that time, between 2 (or at least 1 )consenting adult is up to us.
