But if Thorman were to be used as full back it will be a total waste bringing him in, we signed as a half back we need to use him as a half back!
It will be the time for our most exciting and unpredictable back to make the posistion his own, Craig Hall.
I would even suggest Rich Whiting when fit could possibly look at filling this spot too, not the fastest i know but reads the game as well if not better than anybody at the club
I'll believe it when i see it personally. However saying that, City were hopeful Bullard would be back to fitness for their recent games and it turns out he's out of action for between 5-9 months.
Agar seems willing to use Hall at fullback. In an odd way I think it could be a sort of blessing in disguise Tony and Byrne both getting injured (no disrespect to them both and I hope they both recover quickly) as I'd hate to see Hall in the reserves all year and I'm quite excited at seeing what he can do at fullback.
Good to see Hall given a chance . I to don't want to see the Thorman /Horne partnership split either. But we do have options (although not ideal ) within the squad if things get difficult injury wise.

Mind you ive said all along we'll end up getting Billy Slater instead of him
To be fair, would love to see that fullback match up. Briscoe, strong under a high ball and postionally very strong, against Slater, who isnt, but can run like the wind.

I bloody hope not

I wonder if Agar sees Hall as long term replacement for Tony?

agreed. i'm very happy that agar's giving him the opportunity but it sounds like he deserves it.
Agar said: “Craig has been unlucky not to have made the 17 in our opening two games but now he has got a great chance.
“He had some tough times last season but he has responded magnificently, he has trained well throughout the off season and shown a good attitude.
“Craig has trained at full back and has played in the position before and this could prove another important string to his bow.”
