In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Regardless of what story Bird and his seemingly masochistic girlfriend come up with to explain how the broken glass cut her face (including her eye), we do know that Bird attempted to shift the blame for what happened to his supposed "best friend," who was playing golf at the time. For this alone Bird faces another separate criminal charge.
Team spirit is essential for a successful rugby league team. A rugby league club'' team spirit is not helped by hiring a player who tries to get his "friends" to cop the blame for something that he did.

Maybe linking in to the "Walter Out" topic, but if he moves for an etranger because of the loss of a couple backrowers, as opposed to picking from the choices available from UTC and the LER in general, thenthis will make him les of a coach than Potter.
We got to the Cup final with Potter, during an intensely injury ravaged season. Yes, we did sign foreign cover for Jones, but that is a key position, where we had no available cover. We have plenty of decent backrowers to blood, they should be the first choice.
