I can't understand Mourinho's preference of Adriano over Julio Cruz or Mario Balotelli. Adriano's got lucky in recent weeks but still is, IMO, fat, lazy and useless. Look at the way he scuffed a great chance last night. Julio Cruz, despite his age, is still a reliable performer and Balotelli has shown bags of potential despite his tender years.
I thought the Champions League was supposed to be the elite level of football, especially come the knockout stages, however in the Atlético v Porto game last night the home sides defending, and the visitors finishing and goalkeeping suggested anything but!

That first half was as good as Nited have played in a big time Euro away day for far too long...they imposed themselves on the opposition at long last - just a shame they didnt get the goal or two that they thoroughly deserved.

Man Utd was the better side 1st half and should have took atleast one of there chances but inter looked a lot more solid at the back in the 2nd half when they took that CB off and played some good stuff 2nd half, even tho it was 0-0 it was a cracking game

A great night of european football on the menu, I fancy Liverpool to get something in the Bernabeu, their one up front formation will be perfect against an attacking Real side.
