Would love it if it was but can't see it. If it's 11k again I'll be very pleasantly surprised.

If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.

Think positive Danril, "If you build it they will come." Could be 2000+ from the Uni, 2500-3000 from Hull. There were 9000 Hudd fans there at the weekend, even the most fickle part timer would have to say that you did well against Saints and with a bit better finishing could have beaten them. I'd be very suprised if you don't have more there against Hull than against Saints.

THE INDEPENDANT: Today the east, which contains the biggest council estate in Europe, is poor, a place of high unemployment and low expectation. The west, which has the city centre and the university, is posh and prosperous.

Friday games on TV are generally less well attended by our lot though.

I think 11k would be a tremendous gate and still be a very positive one, so I'm not going to get too ambitious!

This is where the season ticket thing comes in now, with more tickets sold, we are more likely to get those people (or someone) coming to the game, after all it is now paid for.

Well, so long as the weather isnt cruddy.

Catalans at home last year on a friday night and Sky = 4000. That's the lowest we had. I'd say 8-9000. with the sponsor tickets.

Yeah but this year you've got 5500 season pass holders and Hull bring at least 2000, plus a couple of thousand from the Uni. Add maybe a couple of thousand walk up and you've got 11000+. Plus last year when you played Cats you were second bottom in the league, when you plyed them earlier in the season you had over 7000 in. You Giants fans are so negative  I know the club will be hoping for another good crowd.

Good opening crowd, hopefully you'll bring plenty to Odsal on Fri for a change too.
