Ok, next "a grade 1 to far for him" did u see his last run he won it at a canter and has come out of it very well, iirc he's the only horse to have beaten MM and he will excel here, our vic needs good ground and as you mentioned in your AB comments its likely to gd-sf then clearly this will not suit and am pretty sure he will go for WH, as for tidal bay he has not jumpred well at all, and even though he likes cheltenham it wasnt the strongest renewal of the arkle he won last year and see vpu as a likely winner
And finally, youre comments re gold cup are imho clearly wrong, kauto didnt start well, the pace set by denman was too furious that kauto star had to rush his jumps (which he clearly isnt the best at) and travel further, and denman clearly made it a test of stamina on ground that was on the soft side (kauto star dosent imo fully get the gold cup trip on soft-ish ground. Denman has only had one race this year, and a very dissapointing one at that and the noises coming out of the stable are not good at all, as for Kauto star being a class above i dont think you can say that as denman fairly bet ks in last years gc, aswell as winning hennesey on massive weights (i was there at gc and couldnt believe it) ks just held onto 2nd from neputne collognes who is not a consistent sort. alberta's run e/w for me
We'll have to see regards Master Minded, but it's something i've heard. Has he been entered in any of the others and Nicholll likely to run him in that instead?
VPU has run well, but I still think this race is too much for him. I fancy Our Vic (If Exotic Dancer does take the Gold Cup), Our Vic runs better on softer ground, and Good-Soft would benefit him tremendously. Tidal Bay, he knows the course and does prefer the better ground, but still a very strong challenger, especially with the lower weights
Kauto was dissapointing last year, and we both know he can run much better, and he has been, and as long as he runs OK I can't see there being too much of a problem. Denman will battle hard, and like you say, the one race since the last Gold Cup, I don't think he will hold up at all. I am a massive Denman fan, he is a masterclass, but Kauto is still that much better, he is a star.

No he hasnt
Cant see our vic winning if im being honest
You have to remember there are imo some doubts re, kauto star and imo the odds dont currently reflect this since the GC last year he lost at aintree bet mediocre opposistion in ireland, unseated at haydock and won impressively at kempton his favourite track which is right handed, so i wouldnt be rushing in to lump on, although i very much like kautpo star and hope he wins
btw ur welcome on our board particulary cheltenham week as ill be starting up a festival betting topic

Wouldn't bet on Kauto unless I had enough money to make it worthwhile. I get enough enjoyment from just watching him. Would prefer a cheeky e/w on likes of Air Force One or Notre Pere.
Thanks, will do

Anyone on hear in the borough arms on sunday would have seen one of the lads scoop 6 slips with 5 winners and a second. The horse which came second was Damisar and lost by half a length, he got £189, instead of 3 million.

if you do the scoop 6 you have to put selections into a lucky 15 or lucky 31 and a pound each way accumulator,if you get the first 4 or 5 up you'll net a handsome reward whilst waiting for that elusive 6th winner

It was only the second time he had done the scoop, and brought his slip in to show how close he was to winning,It was only when Ste the landlord looked at the slip and told him he had won that he knew he was getting the £189.
