I'd say 60k attendances and a European Trophy makes them a big club, not forgettinga UEFA Cup Final appearance recently.
United struggled to match that before the domination of money / start of the Prem...

Not saying they aren't a big club but they are hardly one of the biggest in europe.

It depends what you mean by 'one of the biggest'. Top 10? Top 20? Top 30?
We (i.e. richest club in the world) have become their feeder club so they must be 'big'.
I was actually in a bar once in Ho Chi Minh City where there was a Celtic Supporters Club meeting. Very strange, I must say.
