whay does for me is that I fall for it every year
every year I think it will be our year
never have lost faith so early quite frankly so rotten to the core the club is it will be a 3 year turnaround

I cannot travel to away matchs to watch this rubbish and although a season ticket holder for many years i am beginning to feel enough is enough....watch sky and pick matches is just about what this shower deserve ..I despair

Not so. The Bothered Brotherhood can't bring ourselves to moan, not really. We just sit around sighing, shaking our collective heads.

Then we watch Peep Show on DVD to cheer ourselves up.

First class idea! Maybe we could get Super Hands in the changing room to look after team diet and supplements.

I've already used the phrase 'sh*t munchers' this morning.

To whom do I apply for membership of the "Not as Bothered" Club?

I suspect this must be a little like Alcoholics Anonymous.
You feel that you're the only person in the world who feels the way you do, only to take comfort in the discovery that what you're experiencing is actually more commonplace than you dared hope.

The Saints collapse didn't hurt at all.
The Catalans debacle washed over me and I was fine a few minutes after the match.
As I've seen written by others on here, I have mixed feelings over whether I want the team to do well at Wakefield as that will only prolong the appalling decision to make Lowes the Head Coach.

I am grateful to Simon Moran and his involvement with the club.
I believe Andy Gatcliffe to be a more than able Chief Executive.
I even have no gripe with Doug Hoyle's role within the club.
But to have an unproven, inexperienced and ill-disciplined Head Coach was a huge and monumental mistake.

By the way, I'll still hold this viewpoint when we convincingly beat Leeds next week!

I share your view in bold. But, to go back to the irony theme, I belive this to be a tragic irony. In that we believe results will only pick up when results are not forthcoming!

For me Saints games in particular, but almost all games nowadays are like playing the lottery. I buy a ticket in the hope that I will win. I tell everyone what I will do when I do win. But when the numbers come out and I'm still poor I'm not at all surprised or upset about it, I just look forward to buying another ticket the following week!

Eddie Hemmings said not wrote:"Remember last time they were here, the Huddersfield Giants, they lost to a Luke Walsh drop goal. He's only scored four drop goals in his St Helens career has Luke Walsh and each and every one of them have been scored by Luke Walsh"

Bobbing up and down on the coach?................wont Mrs JWP have something to say about that?

She'll be sat there, looking at me when we're letting the ball go out from a restart, saying "Your going to have a heart attack, calm down. I've been telling you for years that they are crap."

At this point, I'll advise her of her options :

a) Go upstairs and watch 'How to look good naked'.
b) Take all the remotes upstairs, and lock the doors, as I can't be held responsible for what I may do to them if we concede again.
c) Please be quiet, it's not productive. I'd then advise her that her negative energy may well be transmitting to the players.

I'll never forget Richard Marshall telling me I was too vocal and enthusiastic when I was coaching a team at a RU event. Funnily enough said team went on to be Cheshire champions.

He must have been sitting next to Lowes too long. :D
