Raynor is great at running sideways, however he is weak at dealing with bombs.
His try scoring exploits are also poor.

Gardner compares much more favourably with Raynor in 2008 though.
Raynor is good out of dummy half, but Gardner is better in the other important aspects of wing play, I'd say.

Gardner is the more solid winger, but I'd say Raynor is the more exciting, strike player of the two.
