The system does allow the referee to avoid making some hard decisions during the match.
Of course there are poitives and negatives , a subsequently deemed wrongful dismissal of a player - still usually results in that team losing the match.

In some cases it can lead to officials shying away from making a big (but correct) call (Ben Westwood would probably have gone if there wasn't an 'On Report' option, for example). With something like this though, it's perfect. The only person in the ground who will have know what happened, before looking at a replay, was Briscoe, so rather than the officials having to make a call based on no evidence, they can refer it to hopefully make sure than the correct punishment is meted out.

Only player that would get in would be Sykes IMO and thats only for his attack, I dont think there is a better defensive full back in SL than Brisk.
How do you work that out?
Briscoe is a fine fullback and always gives 100% but given the option of the two we had at Hull I am glad we kept Motu, injuries apart.

I wouldn't know which Briscoe v Motu thread to bring up to prove you are in a small minority ......even with your own fans.
Opinion is very much divided, they both are quality players and tbh it matters not about who is in the minority/majority, we have Motu and that is all the counts.
Im delighted we have Shaun in our ranks and hopefully he will be around for many years at Craven Park.
A great player who because of the type of guy he is off the field also makes him a great ambassador for Hull KR.
