An excellent gate.

Saints brought up to 2500 so just under 9000 Hudds fans!

Liked seeing non playing players signing autographs and the big screen was very good. I thought the clips showing each player when the squad was announced was a great touch.

thought the attendance was vry good on sunday, i expected it to be between 8-10,000.. shame we cant produce a win when we get a big crowd..always seem to lose on the big occasion i.e catalans last year and prev losses on opening day.

hull at home next. they will bring around the same as saints did so will see how many part timers turn up for a 2nd time!

liked the players intros on screen too

Hopefully we will see plenty come back, we might have lost but the team put in a sterling effort and on another day would have bagged the points, which is a huge difference from previous occaisions in front of a big crowd when we have just been mediocre.

Well done on that attendance. Your club deserves to benefit from the season ticket initiative. I hope it continues.

Considering how many we brought last season, Leeds, when we come this season it could well be a 15,000+ gate

I'm not cynical, just well informed

Hmm, as far as the big screen goes it could be used better. They seem to take off the time at various points throughout the match, and it would be a hell of a lot better if it showed replays.

As far as the attendance goes, hopefully we can keep a decent figure throughout the season.

it's against regs unless there's sky cameras there, will be interesting to see if Sky use the screen for the televised game

Sky were intending to use the screen when it was first installed but then refered to their contract with their screen supplier which didn't allow it strangely. The BBC used it in the CC semi final last year though!
