also how can people be willing to drop hansen? its coley we wanna be discussing. not good enough
Before their try when Smith didn't make his tackle where I was sat you could see him calling over one of the back rowers to slide across. Tomkins & O' Loughlin just looked at him. Their 2nd rower picked him out and just ran @ him. The crap he is ment to be shouting is obviously encouragement, it shows even if he is not hitting form he is encouraging others to play well.
I don't know why you are not encouraging talking are you Sean O' Loughlin.
Stick S. Tomkins next to him & TL @ 9. That would be a fantastic trio.

If Richards is still injured I'd have Pryce on the wing, Goulding at centre and Roberts at full back. The most important change is shoring up the defence on the right side, to do this I'd have Smith defend on the left between Hansen and Carmont, which should make him less susceptible. Then on the other side you have Leuluai and O'Loughlin which shouldn't be too bad either, having said that I thought Lockers had a shocker v Cas.

where has everyone seen that pryce had a good game fri?!!? Just dont see it myself....ainscough yes, but pryce?!! Even leneghan seemed to think he looked good but for me he looked fat, lazy and slow, was caught out in defence 3/4 times, and hesitated a number of times with the ball when he could have tried to get round players or at least steam rolled em instead (hes big enough)!!!
Wouldnt get in for me on that performance - add that to the friendlys and i really think we've signed a crock.....he doesnt even look close to his old form at bradford!!
For me him, riddell, and amos should be in the reserves for a couple of months until they get match fit

I agree with that, but IMO apart from one of their tries Pryce had a good game, if anything Goulding went himself too much and didn't use the big guy enough.
People are so quick to jump the gun it's unbelievable. You have to appreciate that foreign players need time to get used to the competition & if both of them play to their full potencial then they will be fantastic signings but this will not be achieved playing them in the reserves.
Also, it's worth mentioning that both players missed the back end of last years NRL through injury too.

He looked poor in space but very effective with players running at him. I think he'd go well at centre as he'd bulldoze his way over for quite a few tries if he gets the ball in the opposition 10. Granted Richards wouldn't get great service but then he only tends to score from kicks to the corner anyway, so again having two 6ft+ backs would bevery handy. On the other side you've got Carmont and Ainscough, that partnership would be very dangerous from anywhere on the field when the ball comes out wide.
edit: after watching the highlights I've changed my mind a bit, I wouldn't play Roberts at full back because he once again got caught out of position with a kick then not even sprinted to try and make up for it. So I'd play Richards at full back with Roberts on the wing, but if Richards is up to it I'd prefer him doing full back indefence and wing in attack to make the most of his and Roberts' attributes, namely Richards' defensive capibilities at full back and ability to turn kicks to the corner into points on the wing, along with Robert's smart attacking full back play.
