Totally agree, why would you need to leave work at 12pm to attend an event that starts at 6pm???

Sorry but I think the SMC should be a completely detached from either of the sports teams that play out of it as there will always be a conflict of interest when things like this happen.
You can not have board members or chairman involved with decision making in the SMC who are also involved with either club.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

why would someone on a corporate freebie book any time off as its work related in the majority

Find myself now wanting a Spurs win tonight!
The thing is Roof whatever side of the City you come from we really have to kick up about this one. Still no statement from the SMC or Duffen, the council who developed the place as a Community Stadium, can do nothing about it and the Chairman of the organisation is the chairman of the Football club. Complaining on the radio and in the media will do no good now I know, but they should realise that we as rugby league community fill that place regulaly as well and have a right to watch Internatinal rugby!

Agree 100%. Whilst the derby games and club rivalry is great, the international games bring all RL fans in the city (and other towns/cities) together to get behind the country, creating a special atmosphere and occassion. As mentioned elsewhere, businesses locally must benefit on matchday. Whole thing's a shame.

FAO Mr Duffen
I am writing in objection to your unexplained decision NOT to permit an International RL match later this year at the KC Stadium.
You shouldn't have to be reminded that the stadium is for the benefit of the whole of the community and not the sole use of Hull City AFC.
There have been many International RL matches in this City well before you came here, some were played at Boothferry Park to accommodate the vast RL following in this City, not just Hull FC and Hull KR but the 1000s played at amateur and junior levels that play in and around the Hull and district area.
You need to be reminded Mr Duffen that this is also a RL City, and your unexplained decision to deny us the RL supporter the privilige to support our National team is deplorable and insulting. 24000 RL supporters attended games at the KC and Craven Park over the last two games in Super League, you have no right to deny us the privilige to support our game.
spot on, this guy has rode rough shod over the people of this city, after all lets not forget, this stadium was paid for with council money, OUR COUNCIL MONEY and we were assured by the council that it would serve all of this cities interests , not just football.

Do you think we could do a big banner like the size of our Hull FC banner.
When the next SKY Game is On asking Duffen where our International has gone?????
It would certainly reach quite a number of people and create a talking point!!!!!!!
