To be honest the game was pretty much a nothing event. Salford didn’t turn up in the first half leaving things too easy for Trinity warranting little encouragement to score.
Second half it was pretty much backs to the wall with little possession and all the action appeared to be at the opposite end of the pitch to the majority of the home support. When the action came a little closer the volume increased somewhat but invariably the players threw away any further chances to score with rash decisions in promising situations resulting in the ‘noise’ fading away.
BV is notoriously quiet with only a few young lads trying to get things going but often they just find themselves chanting. It was very poor but will get better as the match quality gets better.

Who cares about mindless chanting. We clap them on and off and when they do good things. They also got an ovation at the end of the game from most fans, what more is required.
People who go on about "atmosphere" really annoy me. When it matter BV is OK but yesterday was just a non event with the game won all to soon (which I like).
I often hear people say how important the crowd is yet Warrington, Cas and HKR with their supposed fanatical support never seem to get lifted above the ordinary. IMHO it has no effect if it happens every week, players just take it for granted. At BV when the crowd does rise to the team it actually does work as it only happens when the team really excels.
The young lass was as announced part of a competition that the club had organised with long running and popular children's programme Newsround,
which I am sure you will agree is great publicity for the club to be on terestrial TV nationwide. The show goes out wednesday evening, saturday morning saturday evening and Sunday Morning. You may have noticed the Camera follow the announcer.

I can see what you mean but I love an atmosphere but it can rise the players and motivate them a little bit.
But we know Belle Vue is never going to be brilliant for an atmosphere but most home teams don't create a good atmosphere. Leeds is not as good as they think it is, HKR is ok prob one of best but it's always the away games that the atmosphere is best. I will say it again though I love nothing better than a good atmosphere and if no one joins in with us I don’t care as long as we all have a good time that’s the main thing.

Yeah same here, away games i look forward to most. If it was a choice between home game or away it would be the away game every time!
