The Rugby League have a salary cap in place to try get the competition on a more level playing field as in Australia now, but then we have refs like "Le Twerp" in the middle.
Saints spoiled all game and we just were not clever enough to beat the holding down and constant offside and received no help from "Le Twerp" either.
Saints got penalties for these offences when they were in the Huddersfield 20 but "Le Twerp" only gave Huddersfield the penalty for the same offence when we were in OUR OWN 20 yard area.
We had 3 tries dissallowed and would like to see these in more detail before passing comment, It was 12-6 with 4 mins to go (probably to do with Long's terrible goalkicking) but think this was a more realistic scoreline.
You have no worries for Saints, Leeds, and the other so called "BIG CLUBS" until the refs lean less towards these teams
SOUR GRAPES but believe what you want, watch the highlights though.
You just have to laugh at stuff like this.
You won the penalty count. We won the try count. We won the game. FACTS!

As a semi-neutral I enjoyed the game, was a good tight match for the majority.
Thought Giants enjoyed the better of possession and position but the biggest difference for me was the finishing. Other than the tries I can't remember Saints having any other clear chances, in other words every time you had an opportunity to score you took it, sign of a class team.
The turning point was Finnigan being held up at 12-6 with 10 to go. He should really have got the ball down. At the time Giants were on top and the result could have changed from there on but your guys line defence all game was fantastic.
One strange substitution though, I was down by the dug outs when Gardner came off. He appeared to have no injury, no cuts, wasn't limping. He went straight down the tunnel with an official and came out again about 5 mins later, then went back on shortly after? I think he needs to remember to take a dump before kick off

There was definitely something wrong with his jogging off. It wasn't fluent and looked like he had pulled something in his left leg. It wasn't an obvious limp but there was something there.

I think it was the turtle in his pants!
He ran within 2 feet of me and had no limp or sign of pain on his face. Then came back out within 5 mins and back on the field shortly after.
