One of my contacts who sends me stuff from Australia for the Diary just read this weeks and sent me this, thought you might find it interesting!
Just heard about this on Channel 9 News.... They actually used the phrase "outstanding young talent is poached by cashed up Superleague side" during the headlines!
....."A huge signing for you, i've seen him play in the flesh and I'm amazed that the Warriors have let him go, although there have been rumours of difficulties staying under the salary cap over the tasman sea....
He's got the potential to be another Vainikolo or Apollo Perelini.... a player who makes his name in the UK, and stays for a long time. Best thing is, his work ethic is massive! He's no Hitro Okesene or Hutch Maiva, he doesn't mind getting his hands dirty, and he busts tackles like theres no tomorrow".

Despite what the club say I think this signing has been made with the Crocker situation in mind, If Crocker was here, i'm not sure that he would have been signed.
Not knowing much about him, did people expect him to play prop or backrow for Hull?

I don't really think he's been brought in to score trys (although seeing him getting a few wouldn't do any harm), this signing is more to do in beefing up the pack and impact of the bench.
