OK.....he's not currently allowed into the UK to work, so is he only going to sign for Home games?
If he does sign for the French, are they going to get him to hide on the Eurotunnel freight trains every second week?
It will be a farce if he is allowed to play for Catalans in the UK after being rejected........but it will probably happen.

I wonder how much research Catalans put into this before rushing into the signing. As things stand, Bird will not be able to play in their away games.

he isnt banned from coming into the country, simply from coming and working here, and he isnt working here he working in france, even if that means coming over to britain once every two weeks to play rl

He still has to qualify for entry to the UK and if refused on "character, conduct and associations", then that applies for whatever reason he wants to come here
