I'd imagine he'd be keen, but he'll have to merit a place. If sheffield don't beat us they could well be out of the Cup, so will want to play their strongest team I'd imagine.

On a serious note, Good Luck to Gibbo, He's served Halifax well over the years and he's one of those players you'd rather have in your side than play against you. Unfortunatley we can't pick a side on merit though and the time came for him to move on.

he was a good player to have around the dressing room and still a good try scorer even in his twilight years of his career.

lets hope he can still work with the young people inside calderdale college to get some good youngsters coming into the side before the next franchise deadline.
