JT and John Glancy never broke a tackle in their careers but were both invaluable players. Bibey is a big unit and saps the opposition defence, runs the ball in regular, makes very few errors and plays the ball quickly - job done.
Kear does not play Bibey out of love or because there is no one else, he plays him because he does a specific job.
I've tried explaining this to so many people but they just won't have it! If some had a more than basic ides of the game then they would understand why he is played, Bibey also has a neat short passing game and a pretty decent step for a big lad, for me Bibey offers much more than Bibb who just seems to be trundling along at the minute, reminding me a bit of Chris Feather. Kyle has got time on his side and when others are back maybe a rest from the first team will do him good.

Does a good solid job for us and will be inportant this season to do the basics, just don't expect him to make 50m breaks!
Exactly, just because he is so big people expect him to be bursting through the tackles. Props like Feka and Peacock do this because as well as size they have pace and explosive power. I'm sure Bibey is a powerul man but he does not have that explosive power to take him through the tackles. Ricky tires the opposition defense due to his sheer size and weight thus allowing our other players to make the breaks and capitalise on their tiredness.

i think bibeys been doing ok this season up to now and if he concentrates on just hitting the ball up and not missing tackles thatl be job done. has for bibb he shouldnt need a rest after 3 sl games him and fergy are coming up to 22 now theyre adult players now. the difference in between the two is that fergy looks like he wants to be on the pitch and bibb dont, hes not blessed with pace so hes got to use what hes got his size and at the moment hes playing with no grunt in him. its an ideal oppertunity to stake a claim for a place at this moment he isnt, bibeys not special but hes there he trys to make the tackles and puts himself about, a choice between the two and its bibey for me.
WAKEFIELD FANS ARE BORN, NOT MANUFACTURED.WE DO NOT CHOOSE, WE ARE CHOSEN. THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND NEED NO EXPLANATION. THOSE WHO DONT, DONT MATTER.

Thats what I'm saying. I'm not saying he should need a rest but if he's dropped then it might give him a kick up the backside and spur him on, Fergys going well and staking his claim as a regular Bibb needs to look more interested cos at the moment it looks like he wants to be anywhere but on the pitch.

never thought i would hear myself say this, but bibey has done a great job since the start of the season, best i have seen him play, attack and defence. can't fault his effort. as for stotich, by the end of the season he will be one of the best. as for bib not punching his weight, needs a lot more effort and a lot more aggression. should be stepping up to the plate now.hope he does
Must be coming into his third possibly fourth season around the squad, now as a first choice back rower this season; as such expect his to start showing that or could be shipped on a la Golden (who he has shown less than...admittedly he's had injuries and we have only played three games)
