Well I feel we have a settled squad, with only 3/4 changes really needed. I think Rafa's the right man, he's been with us for 5 seasons after this, it would be a shame if he were to leave after 5 years of work, I want things to be settled at the club, giving Rafa a new deal and allowing him to sign who he wants with his budget, for me, would settle things down. We need continuity, you've had Fergie for 20 odd years, and look how you've reaped the rewards.
I'm quite happy with his choice of player, in his earlier years he signed some wrong'uns, but I think his choice of player has improved and he now understands what type of player will make it in England, however, I sometimes feel he has to sign the odd risky player, and I'm sure he does too, but I don't think he's willing to risk it when we're trying to sign quite a large quantity of players.

Its destiny mate, Gozzo in the final

Liverpool are just awful right now and Real Madrid are flying. They hit 6 in the first half this weekend against Betis
How many times have we gone into games against Europe's finest feeling like this? As far as I'm concerned, Madrid gaining any kind of form could be good, as they'll be billed as the favourites, although I think the game will be very tough, much tougher than some have made out, I'm quietly confident.

Many at the game today would have disagreed with you, he has had 5 years in charge and yes he has brought back silverware but i think he lacks the forward mentality that SAF has to go on and win the game if not by his squad choices, he builds around his defense rather than investing evenly if not centered around forwards as we now have a good backline.
I think this is very incorrect, apart from Torres, Mascherano and Skrtel he has made some very bad choices ala Babel, Lucas, Cavalieri, Degen and Voronin.
Id like to see Nemeth at some point this season to give us abit of speed and agility.
