Let's hope so from a purely selfish point of view.

You lot got people noticing yesterday. Even the crusties in the litten tree who like a few pints, horses and paper were asking questions.

Good day and hope you lot enjoyed yourself.

Was a decent first crowd,i think it will decrease initially over the course of the season but i can see you going from strength to strength when you get your new stadium.

Was a very good crowd and i would have said about 1,500 hull fans who helped create a fantastic atmosphere. Cant wait to the saints game, im bringing along two other people this time so the crowd should be at least 2 people bigger! ;)

I should be plus one and have 5 of us for the Saints game and I think a few more will show an interest so let's hope so.

Yeah I'm fine.

Not going to make a habit of having a dust up with away fans mind but there was an idiot Saturday who was intent on it.

Hope to see you back at games soon enough.

One good thing is you can live in the knowledge that Saints won't bring the trouble to south wales that Hull FC did.

DANNY LOCKWOOD - LEAGUE WEEKLY (18-5-09)

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.
