couldn't make the game today as i had a coaching course but from what i can gather, our forward pack didn't dominate as much as we expected?

No, i was expecting them to make hard yards, but in the 1st half especially they couldnt get out of their half gd wakey defence and little ideas from anyone in your side, was run of the mill for us in 1st half

2nd we were knackered, number 18 i think was running in hard and fast and performed better but 6 sets on our line and not too many attacking ideas from your team aswell as gd defence, we rallied after you had a try dissalowed and good run from blanch set up yardage for atkins try and blanchy try in last min was strong bargeover

I'm not a 100% sure but i think he judged the winger to be offside from the kick.

All true but still a lot better than the willows, where a tetnus is compulsary before enetering. Really, people in glass houses and all that.

to be fair the willows does generate a far better atmosphere than belle vue! even though both grounds are not up to standard.

think we just need to get up to super league speed, this first few games are the tough ones where we have to learn our lessons.just a very poor first half and one i hope we learn from before next week which is a winnable game if we play for the eighty.

there really was no atmosphere even a comment on the radio from one of wakey's fans.

we gave away too many penalties in the first half to be in the game.

better performance in the second half some positives to take away after our first super league game proper.

thats right its a learning curve, these are proper super league games now against experience unlike celtic.fair play to wakey, there a very underated side, beat us with some to spare and with some key players out injured.
