Does anyone know if they've swapped frequencies, and if so, what to?

Hopefully they've invested in some top of the range equipment, the stuff they were using when I was involved was absolute tosh.

A couple of years back, the RFL sold radios that could listen in to the ref.
I just bought my own scanner so that I could get the TJ's and the 4th official as well.

They're public radio frequencies, so there's absolutely nothing wrong with me listening in.

I might email Stuart Cummings and ask him

I don't see which part of that is likely to give trouble unless the RFL has taken back the public permission to listen as inferred by selling recievers at one point?

Precisely. That, plus the fact that it's a public broadcast (The referee's mic is played through the Sky broadcast).

This is an entirely public broadcast.

That "law" is actually meant ot protect things like telephone calls, which were being intercepted by journalists, and the published - Remember "Squidgy-Gate" ???
