C'mon Marto, you state that 250 shirts were sold yet there are non for sale? Yes XXL is correct but its now 2009 and 2008 has passed. I tried emailing Giovanni (40-20) and he has a policy of not replying to emails. Others have tried to buy from him too.

What happened with the co-op sponsorship? Thought about lobbying within the co-op to rethink their decision, due to the nature of the organisation you could get people signed up as members and then use this group of people to ask why the sponsorship is being cut. There are also elections coming up for Leeds Co-op so lobbying of candidates could be effective.

Like I mentioned on another thread, I have a board of directors to answer to now, and three effing accountants (oh the joys of selling out) so its not so easy for me to slip a few grand under the radar (they wouldn't understand rugby sponsorship, not unless we get something back for it, 'kin Philistines), but I'm sure I could snaffle £50 out of petty cash on a lame excuse, especially if someone who's signature can't be read would sign for it

How about a shirt sponsor raffle among local businesses, at £50 a time you'd only need 100 and for all the losers you could maybe donate a page in one of the programmes to list them all ?

I agree, it would be a great idea. £50 wouldn't be too far beyond the reaches of some individuals too, especially if you could throw in some incentive for private individuals who sign up. I'd have a crack and ask for some charity logo to be used on the shirt if I won in the draw.

We may not have a lot but we have recorded a profit for each of the last 4 years. Not big profits (£4k, £11k, £19k and £84k) but profit nonetheless. How many other RL clubs can say that ?

erm key word is sold, as in gone, no longer in stock. unfortunately we, are not as big as some clubs and have to order the minimum quanity that the suppliers specifyso unless you want 25 XXL shirts or a combination of different sizes, i can't supply what you want till i have that number of shirt orders.
