Well done to Justin Morgan for playing his young British prospect Welham rather than then the easy option of picking the expensive import. I'm referring to last week before Walker was banned. I yhink Welham looks good I hope Morgan perseveres with him.
Brian Noble should note.
he wouldnt be needed, we have Kallum Watkins, who could be one of the best centres in the UK in a few years time, and Ashley Gibson, who with time to get back into the team and cement a place, will be quality once again.

Just for the record, the guy isn't nasty. He's a great guy off the field, and a powerhouse on it.
However, teams always have him well wrapped up, which leads to him gettin frustrated and wanting to power through the tackles instead of maybe giving the winger the pass.
He has proven his ability though, however, seems to be prone to little injuries now and again, which hinder him.
Also, his tackles are very strong and he just needs to find the line a couple of times this season and he will be banging the tries in.
Also, regarding Whelham, he played in 3 out of the 4 friendlies, and was a stand out performer in those games, so thats why he has (deservingly) got a start in the last two. I can see him starting next week (possibly with Chev as the other centre) but then Chev and Jake will be starting centres throughout the rest of the season, especially against the teams who will be competing with us come the end of the season for playoff places.
An example of the youth side of things, will be wen Webb is fully fit for you guys, will McClenan play watkins on the wing still or drop him for smith.
