His business plan must really suck.
'Arry has crawled out again....He would lose his head defending the Tiggers.....They can do no wrong. But this time, its not City at fault. They are doing well (ish) in a hard division. What 'Arry fails to let sink in is the fact that Duffen (new to the job) doesn't seem to understand the HISTORY OF THIS CITYS SPORT.....WE ARE A RUGBY LEAGUE CITY.....The soccer supporters outnumber us only because the team are in the top flight.......They are mostly Liverpool, Leeds and Man U supporters that have jumped on a pathetic bandwagon anyway  , if they drop again or Bullards leg drops off, then everything will go back to normal. We will be able to watch international rugby league in our COMMUNITY STADIUM and also probably get a few more bands to perform there too!

It probably does now - hasn't he got a £14M hole to fill?

Still surprised he's not been available for comment - the man's not exactly publicity shy is he?

And now for those of you watching in black and white...this one is in technicolour.

Or perhaps there's a bigger picture where a one off game could cost more than not playing it.

Some of you insist on proving to the world that you're stupid and small minded. It's not me defending Hull City or football, I'm simply pointing out where your arguments are ill-informed. If you're looking to change the decision, whinging about non-issues or venting your anti-football anti Hull City spleen is not going to be productive.

According to some of you, this is a massive Rugby League hotbed, so surely the KC won't be big enough anyway, and travelling an hour down the road to a bigger stadium would be no problem at all?

I read there were issues about playing a game at the stadium and knew the noddies would be on here blaming Hull City, yet admitting they've actually no facts to support their whine.

St Helens and Gateshead fan.

You're only called FC, because you know football is far more popular.

So you thought you would come on and wind us up a bit more.

Personally...couldnt give a toss as we would get a good tw4tting anyway and id sooner watch it on telly and save some money.

It's the "unavailable for comment" angle that has riled most RL supporters. very poor on Duffen's part I have to say.

I remember very recently attending a game at noon and a game at 6pm on the same day in the stadium. Cant remember the teams both Hull teams played but I can remember changing from my City chirt to my FC shirt in the pub!

This has to be more than the logistics as there is a precident as above. I cant see the terms of use being vastly different to the terms used at previous internationals so we can only speculate as to why.

Again, the perception is there for all to see and Duffen should "be available" and open to appease these fans and their beliefs. Mr Duffen has opened a very large gaping wound and needs to find some needles very quickly.

Sending Duffen or the Council 'outrage' e mails is not going to achieve anything.

We need to know why this decision was taken, if it was taken because of a valid reason then I can respect that.

If it has been taken for the benefit of Hull City AFC then serious questions need to be answered about how our 'community'stadium is being run.

But surely by sending emails it shows people are interested in his decision and are not happy with it,my email wasnt slagging him off, was just pointing out the benfitis to the local community, youth, rugby league and having hull on tv. Just said i was a little frustrated with his decision and maybe he should explain his reasons

Maybe the JJB , Galpharm and Reebok could do the same , Infact scrap the whole tournament while were saving money.

Feel free to come up with a possible scenario where that would be true.

I've done none of the above.

It's good for the city to hold big events. It's also great for local fans to be able to see an international in their local stadium. If you can't see that then you really do have your soccer blinkers on.

I haven't blamed anyone for anything, other than registering disappointment that the council couldn't step in to sort something out. There may be a perfectly valid reason for this decision, but as yet nobody has come up with one.

Very disappointing, I would like some explanation from the SMC as to why no date could be found, we won't get one though.
