I think that the poor defeat has caused people to overeact. It was a careless tackle that caught the guy on the shoulder first. Calm down. Westwood's is an aggresive player full stop. If we had more of his committed approach we wouldn't be the easy touch that we are.

i was watching the game, Westwood is a liability, but i never saw him spit, if its right, he should be looking at a long ban, the guys a tool, and the fans that was chanting his name, was out of order, but that happens in all sport! just heard Carvell is going for scans on his knee? how true is this? fantastic player, just doesnt play enough, too injury prone

Agree with that. On about the 4th replay I saw Benny's arm bounce off the ball or shoulder. Mogg's was nothing.

I thought the only real difference between the two was that Morley wasn't knocked out cold.
I thought Stevo was pretty disgusting. He verbally crucified Westwood for his hit, yet when Moz was on the end of something very similar his comment was simply "he didn't miss". Whilst not condoning Westwood in any way (as I said earlier, he should have seen red and he should receive a few games off too), Sky, and in particular Stevo, made out the incident to be much worse than it actually was. I was half expecting Stevo to call for Westwood to be shot at dawn!
