Although I prefer King on the wing there was one moment when I really wished Penny was on the pitch. One of Briers rare moments of genius - he kicked the ball fairly high into a space. Penny's pace would have really got me holding my breath. But no, no kicks like that when Kev was around?

When Penny plays teams always leave the opposite winger hanging a bit back as he always has that threat so they try to prevent it like that. When he's not there the winger can push up as King and Bridge don't really have blistering pace to worry them

Exactly!!!!! We have players like that pal, the difference is with King, is that he was the great white hope, the deliverer, the one, oh dear, he seemed TOO happy at the end of the game, like a couple of our players, happy with the pay cheque, no idea about what it should feel like to play for the club, the fans, the shirt or the badge, simple as.

I prefer Bridge at centre rather than Penny but in attack King did nothing wrong when he eventually got the ball that is, good go forward and scored a try.
He drifted in to far in the second half and was punished, he also gave up half way when chasing a kick down field, having said that i don't think we missed Penny in attack or defense and he wouldn't have changed anything if he was playing.
Matt King is a DISGRACE, and should be taxied to the airport and told never to darken our Club again first thing Sunday morning
I'm sorry, but anyone who can laugh, and smile and have a backslapping session with the oposition at the end of tonights game clearly shows he is simply taking the you know what.
It was clear to anyone there tonight that he is ripping the backside out of this club and its supporters and basically giving us 2 fingers.
I was incensed by his reaction and I'm afraid is probably endemic of a number of other players, but to do what he did tonight is inexcusable, and shows us just what he is - pi..ng himself all the way to the Bank at our expense.
If he wasn't on the field....would we really miss him ?
Get out, go home as you clearly don't give a stuff about our Club, and are happy to take the money, turn out on the pitch and do .... all.
You lost ANY credibility tonight and I'll say it to your face if I ever get the chance.

I saw that. He is either
a) Thick
b) A complete and utter twa[ ]
c) A combination of the 2
Even if he couldn't give a stuff, as appears to be the case, he should at least be smart enough to try and hide it. Monaghan is absolutely crap but at least he has the decency to bust a gut and appears to care that he is absolutely crap.
