He ought to have kept his mouth shut as he's just made himself look bitter and stupid with those remarks.
For the 'full speed replay' merchants on this thread - on the SLE show it was reported that Smith said he thought it was a knock-on right from the start and just used the slow-mo to be absolutely sure.

Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One
It wasnt his hand it was his knee. I should know, I saw it full speed from directly behind from the south stand. Dont believe me, ask the guy next to me on the grassy knoll, he saw it clearly through his rifle sight.

you WILL see worse given this season, if we had been 20 points up I think it might have gone our way, but with it being a game winner in a tight game I think the benefit was given to Leeds, who then went on to score and win.

Indeed and if it wasn't a tv match I am sure that both his and Donalds would have been given, however as there was a video ref both were referred 'upstairs'.
Touches it or not, try or not! makes no odds, Leeds would have still beaten your lot. Think yourselfs lucky the ref kept you in the game so long with the persistant biased penalty blowing in your favour.

There was no benefit of the doubt needed. It was clear to see on the replay the ball rotation change when his hand hit it. If there wasnt a video ref it would have been given as a try but thats what VRs are for isnt it, to disallow tries that should be disallowed?
Hull KR coach Justin Morgan brushed off Steve Ganson's controversial late decision that led to his side's match-winning try in the derby game with Hull FC in Cardiff.
"It is what the referee says. We have been on the end of good and bad calls all season," he said.
"Everyone is on the end of bad calls. It's what's gone in the little box at the end of the day and it's us that got two points. That's all that matters.
