It is a hard pill to swallow but unbelievably true.

Please god no not betts, the most out of his depth coach in our history!! Did a stand up job last time!
I just dont see Hanley ever being wigan coach either!
Actually that could be quite true if what i heard at the game was right. Apparently now Hanley is out of Dancing on Ice, Nobby is going to be replacing him.

Probably going to get shot down for this, but i'm still unsure why everyone is wanting Hanley to be the possible next coach of Wigan.
Ten years ago he coached Saints to the GF win but hasn't really coached at the top level of the domestic game since. How long was he at Saints? Just over a year? He then lasted a month or two at Castleford a few years ago and although he did a very good job at Doncaster last season, this was at NL2 level.
All in all less than three years coaching exprience in the last 10 years.
Don't get me wrong, Hanley is one of my all time favourite players and one of the best to ever play the game....but coaching wise, i'm personally still very unsure of his credentials.
Lie low the fields, of Central Park
Where once we watched the King Kenny Play
(and could he play)
We had Boston on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory, round the Field of Central Park
