a) This showed a total direspect to other Leeds supporters, lying that had lost their seats and sniggerring like stupid school children at their own blatant dishonesty.
b) Small bladders to go with their small brains, constantly going backwards and forwards for more booze.
c) An initial inability to use a seat, and then the prancing about if anything happened, although this was often delayed, see d)
d) The need to use foul and abusive language to the home fans and taunting them, even though play was ongoing in the opposite direction.

This group included blokes who were old enough to know better, down to late teenagers.

It is difficult for small family groups or individuals to move these apes on, perhaps the stewards should ensure people take their allocated seats?

Just to make the night complete, the supporters buses had a police escort out of the ground, is this the slippy road to being football supporters?

Did you tell a steward?
Did you say anything to these people?
Have you informed the club?

If not what good does it do whinging on here about it?

There was no disregard for any Rhinos supporters, perhaps you didnt notice but the majority of Leeds fans were sat where they wanted and not just a select few, so afew of my mates had a few beers at the ground? Big deal, they werent causing any trouble- never seemed to be an issue with many people around who had abit of banter.

There were enough seats for everyone last night so whats the problem, you sit where u want at Hull Fc and Wigan dont you?!

Sounds like a guilty conscience to me.

The man shouting at the touch judge during the KR conversion before halftime was comedy gold. Leaning over the fence (right next to a steward, evidently a waxwork), holding up two fingers (to show, it seemed, both his annoyance and the fact that two teams were playing) but in the midst of this dropping something over said fence which he obviously needed and couldn't reach.
Cue comedy 'panic face', immediate climb down and, to put the icing on the cake, the return of said item by.......you guessed it, the touchy he'd been calling a c*** seconds before. Quality!

Hmmm.

Barmy Army bringing the club into disrepute again?

I'd suggest the opening poster writes to Gary Hetherington.

I'll supply names if necessary.

I saw him trying to carry 2 bottles and a pint back to his seat – by the time he’d finished goading the Leeds fans he’d spilled most of the pint and @ £3 a pint that must have cost him 15% of his weeks Giro.

No I was on one of those buses

No the majority of fans found their reserved seats and sat in them. Leeds sold their full allocation, so the stand was going to be full.

The seats at Hull, Wigan and even Huddersfield are not reserved so you can sit anywhere, they were reserved last night because the stand was full.

The stewards were also frankly clueless last night .... They're a paid employee of their club.

They have certain obligations to maintain. They are supposed to be, amongst other things, to take away the responsabilty (and cost) of providing members of the local constabulary from being in attendance inside the stadium.

Previously at Hull KR, they've had a buy-a-ticket-sit-where-you-like policy ... If this is the case, then fine. I don't have a problem with that and I am quite able to find my own seat. On entering the ground, I was told by one steward "That you've got to sit on the seat allocated on your ticket". If that's the case, then fine, but make sure you enforce it.

After finding the entire row (we'd got a block of about 8 seats on that row supposedly booked to us) with people already occupying the seats we held, upon enquiring with the nearest steward, I was once again confirmed that it was allocated seats policy this evening.

At that point I suggested that he 'do his job' and go sort out the row we were on, that sounded too much like hard work to him, so in consultation with his colleague the policy had a sudden change to 'sit where you like'.

Given that, as I said earlier, they have certain obligations with regards to crowd control and ground safety. I kept an eye on the couple of stewards that were in my visual range from time to time during the game. Not once did I see them taking an active interest in what was going on in the crowd around them. For exmple, the racist abuse given by a certain individual already mentioned on here was actually directed towards the black players on his own team, but would have been clearly audible to his nearest steward. From what I observed, suggests to me that the stewarding job at Craven Park is one of the easiest jobs going, because there is little actual effort involved and the entire evening is spent perched on a stool at the front watching the game whilst getting paid for it and the ability to dodge work at every opportunity.

Indeed, during the Ryan Bailey incident towards the end of the game, one of the stewards was having a laugh and a chat with a group that only seconds before had been abusing someone that was potentially seriously injured.

Before Rovers fans come on here and suggest that I've got something against their club or I'm having a go for the sake of it. There are other clubs, including Leeds, who can and do make similar shortfalls in terms of their safety obligations. The vast majority of the time, there's nothing serious happens and there complacent attitude is reinforced. However, history is littered with events, where the 'it won't happen to us' attitude has cost many lives. I merely comment on what I see ....

Given in the Conan-Doyle books (Note To Comissioning Editors at Southern Televison - We should have done a 'Sherlock' when we had chance) the famous detective is an opium addict, given the actions of the certain individual, a large element of method acting was being used ?
