What has happened to Wigan at all.Once the biggest club in rugby league and attracting all the top players. Over the recent years lost their ground, leasing Mr Whelans ground with now no real place to call home. They had to play their play off match at Widnes , the salary cap breaches , releasing decent youth prospects and recruiting overseas players who have in the main failed to deliver. They seem to be self destructing.I used to love going to Wigan in the 80's and 90's but can honestly say that the two games i enjoy the most are Leeds and Saints. Wigan are just a shadow of their former selves.

Nothing lasts forever. Your club had a glorious era and deserved all the plaudits that came with it. I have always maintained that if that famous Wigan team had not thrilled both the fans who attended and those who saw them on tv, RL may well have died a slow death.
It could never go on and on, and actually, that would not only have been rather monotonous, but bad for the game in general.
I'm sure that all Wigan's fans are in despair at the moment, but the club will come good again, and actually, there is still plenty of enjoyment to be had in watching your team battle for survival. I should know, having watched Salford for 30+ years.
It's not the end of the world, stick with it.
