I was thinking that too but wiping the tackle count clean changes the mentality of both the attacking and defending sides.

You're spot on. Just watching it again and yep, Aizue moves his right leg towards the ball. Correct decision, another set of 6.

Lord God Jose Mourinho wrote:TBH I wouldn't really say that any of the penalties given against us were incorrect.

The only question is whether HKR were offending as well. But as Sky, like everyone else, follows the play there's no way of knowing whether we were doing anything differently from them.
You didn't need to see it. The ref could clearly be heard on a number of occasions warning KR players about not making the ten, not having 2 feet behind the line when defending. When Leeds committed such offenses it was zero tolerance time. When HKR did them it was a chat on the run. I don't care what policy refs adopt but would like them to adopt the same for both sides.

Quote:Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

What difference would that have made in this instance?

The correct decision would still have been, 'no try' due to Webster knocking on with his left hand.

You forget the 'Bailey's In A Coma' chant too. Given one of the main protagonists was seen walking out before the end towing a couple of kids with him, you've really got to think about the sort of environment they're being raised up in ?

Sadly, some Leeds fans thought fit to lower themselves by singing something fairly unpleasant back in response, but not without some provocation.

Least we forget there was the resident racist, laughably spewing forth his bile against the black players in his OWN team.

So, congratulations for excelling on several points :

1) Super League's most effective stewards .... Lads, you're being paid to do a job, its not some lame excuse to watch the game at the front on a little seat in an orange jacket. If we could hear it, you could hear it. Proactive, rather than reactive ?

2) In the North Stand, perhaps the most dangerous and over-priced stand in the league .... ? That all wooden boarding is totally safe when exposed to the rain, with no danger of slipping or falling. No .... None whatsoever.

3) For being up there with your cross-city rivals in an ability to sink to the lowest depths, before tonight, I honestly thought there was only one problem team in SL from Hull ... Maybe I am mistaken ?

But maybe the HKR players actually listened to what he said and corrected their position while our players just carried on regardless and got done for it. I think Diskin made a break in the first half which was directly caused because a HKR player was offside, the ref called him on it and he pulled out of the challenge rather than giving away the pen.

We were pulled a lot initially for offside in the first half. We exacerbated that situation by coughing up possession as well. That gave HKR the majority of possession which means that you're defending more and more likely to give away penalties for offside.

You're probably right. SL referees ask the VR what to check for anway so it's the same thing.

I think they do it in Union as quite often the ball is invisible over the line. Then it's the ref saying I'm going to give this unless you find me an infringement that I'm missed.

one HKR try came when the ball was knocked out of halls hand to another HKR player who was in front of his team mate. accidental offside at best.
mcguire was cynically tripped seconds before the HKR player was sinbinned for holding down.mcguire is heard complaining about the trip

I thought it was funny when the Webster no try/Knock on was described by Stevo as an optical illusion. Those Clowns at Sky Were so desperate for the descision to go HKR's way. [/b]Optical illusion i ask you
