surely now the board at wigan aswell as the coaching team must have realised the problems at the club at the moment and considered listening to the fans. From what i can see, these over-rated, over-payed, over-played, over-seas hasbeens and average players are losing us games, have nothing offer regarding talent and do nothing but further put the club further in danger of financial problems.
youngsters like tomkins and ainscough should be nurtured, and treat with care by the club; let them develop into future wigan and international stars. But no, a worrying trend of releasing brilliant young talent is beginning to stain the club. Players like robinson, wild, brown should be at the club now and for me would start every week in this current wigan outfit.
Thoughts?
Brown looked really good last week at stand off for Huddersfield, Robinson would be a better bet than the very inconsistent Tim Smith and maybe Stephen Wild should be with us still as well.
Add to that I would prefer Danny Tickle to Andy Coley and Shaun Briscoe for fullback and I am sure we would see something better.

And on tonights showing, Briscoe (miles better than Mathers), and to a lesser extent Colbon (better than Pryce).

PLease no, on young player I was glad to see the back of.
Brown had talent, he never progressed with us cos he was thrown in consistantly week in week out...which is the reason our young players don't play every week. Noble bloods them in when he sees fit.
i feel sorry for noble, hes got players who do not know how to do the basics right.
Positives from tonights game was mr.revelation on the wing! he was amazing was ainscough and if he gets dropped it is diabolical!
karl pryce looked quite dangerous aswell, i was pretty impressed with him
o'carroll, feka and tomkins where fantastic in the pack
riddell shown signs of improvement and dictated play from half back in the second half.
I think throwing more youngsters in would damage their progress just as it did with the like of Aspwinwall, Hodgeson, Wild, Brown, Robinson, etc when they played in bad teams. We need more experience on the field pulling their weight. We are desperate for a leader who will take it upon themselves to take the fight to the oposition. We don't have anyone who will do that and have not had that since Faz left. We need a Peacock style player who will lead from the front. We have no bottle in the team when things are going bad.
