Early indications suggested that we would only take a small following to the Galpharm, potentially as low as 500.
Bloody crunching credit

Another touchstone of the Saints support.

I think we can assume from today's turnout in the Pink Lady stand that those who post on RLFans are not representative of the majority of Saints supporters. It was chokka!
Atmosphere still left a lot to be desired. If the 'atmosphere' are such huge supporters of the S, why do they only arrive five minutes before kickoff and end up being penned in one corner. I demand a breath test!

The atmosphere is sh*te at Saints most weeks. I remember the days when we used to criticise the Dulls fans for being quiet, but I bet they'd give us a run for our money these days in the chanting stakes, we're that bad.

From my position by the dug outs and with a bit of inside info you had around the 2-2500mark. There was one whole section of the stand empty, next to the Antich stand, and the section next to the Main Golf Direct stand was barely a quarter full. When you're in the stand in may seem as if it's packed but there was plenty of space. A good turn out by you guys I thought, less than some teams bring but more than Wire and Bradford.

THE INDEPENDANT: Today the east, which contains the biggest council estate in Europe, is poor, a place of high unemployment and low expectation. The west, which has the city centre and the university, is posh and prosperous.
