When he first got back into the side, I was very critical of his performances, as he certainly looked like the weak link. However, his last few games he has looked back to something like his best.
Still questions over his injuries though. However, him been at the club can only help Rafael improve so that he is finally ready to take over full time.
We could end up in a situation where Fergie, VDS, Giggs, Scholes and Neville all leave at the same time though, which would be fairly problematic.
It wouldn't suprise me if Giggs, Scholes and Neville move down to the reserves in the next couple of years to help bring the younger lads through. ATEOTD what better role models could you have on the pitch to learn from?

Neville isn't up to it anymore. Giggs and Scholes have got a season left inside them. Then they'll both probably work with the youth team.

Considering its almost the length of the country to travel, yes its a superb idea that has helped the visiting fans
So Stale Solbakken is the most recent guy to put the boot into Manchester City's new found riches.
He won't be the last. How fresh money coming into football will supposedly "destroy" the game is something I simply don't understand. I can see how it can harm Sheikh Mansour's bank account, I can see how it can engender jealousy, I can see how it can annoy the traditional powers-that-be who'll have to face more competition for top players. I can also see how Mansour's millions can recirculate throughout the game and make a whole load of clubs' finances more secure.
Football has been around a long time. It will take more than Sheikh Mansour's chequebook to destroy it. If anyone can convince me of the opposite, I'm happy to listen.
