Been to see Peter Kay a couple of times, along with the rest of the country. Saw Vic and Bob many moons ago in Manchester but the most recent was Steve Coogan. A somewhat shaky start as Pauline Calf, a mostly forgettable Duncan Thickett, an on-form Paul Calf and a godlike genius entire second half of Alan Partridge!! A wonderful evening, marred only by a dodgy seat and being sat next to a crack whore. And seeing Sean Long there.

Paddy Mcguiness is funny also.
My little brother is on Paddy McGuiness's live DVD in Blackpool. He made the mistake of getting up to go to the bog halfway through his routine.
Although its not traditional stand up, Julian Barratt & Noel Fielding are very good in the Mighty Boosh Live show. Before the show starts they do about 30 mins of stand up.
You just know you're in for a good night when you here the compere say....

I recall someone mentioning Jason Manford earlier on in the thread (think it was JWP), very funny guy. Seen him at the Unity in Liverpool whilst watching Lucy Porter. Wasn't really expecting much but he surprised me.
At the moment, Michael McIntyre is up there with the best. The guy is hilarious! Also one name that's not mentioned but who I think is particularly good is Karl Spain, especially his stories about his mate, aka "The Eedjit".
One guy who I've seen on TV but not live who was very very funny was Rodney Dangerfield.
