It wasn't too many years ago when noble, then at bradford lost his first two matches of the season, the second to lowly widnes. A good section of bradford fans called for his head, but bradford went on to win the grand final. Its a little early to sack him i think. Who else would you get in who could do a better job?

history to repeat itself maybe???????
WIGAN RLFC IS MORE THAN A RUGBY CLUB - IT'S A RELIGION There will always be a Wigan Warriors no matter what the bitter & twisted blues say
Noble has done brilliant getting us to semi finals but what does Noble no favours is his style of rugby, for the last 2 years we've complained about it again and again and again.
IMO we needed a period of stability after the Millward 'era' which we have had but now its time to stop walking and start running again. For IL to make a sucess of Wigan RL he needs for us to break the top 2 strangle and will Noble be the man to do it? Personally i dont think so, i think the games moved on.

Exactly the game has changed since Nobbys days at the Bradford, we need to have good defense and flair in attack instead of just bullying teams in defense and up the middle in attack.
Noble will not leave though as IL will not want to pay him off.
If we have to replace him for next season though, bring in a young manager and take a risk but have some experience with him. With a young succesful manager we could be sorted for 10 years at least.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS
I've no fetish for props at all.
What I do know is that Bradford's and Saints success in SL have been built on relentless power from their front rows.
How many times recently, like last Friday, have Saints come from behind?
You can hold them for 40-60 mins but in the end they wear teams down and over run them. They create that space the halves and backs need to put the score on the board.
After all, how many tries does Gardner score from 40 mtrs out?
He scores the vast majority from 20ish mtrs, the ground and space been provided by the front row and having a class centre.
Until we have a front row with four big experienced props we won't make that ground we need to give space for the tries to be scored.
Last week Fielden, Feka & Eamon were excellent, but we needed another good hardworking prop. Hull's front row were always taking the game to us rather than the other way round.
Until Ian Lenagan signs the props we need we will not make top spot.
No use blaming Noble, Lenagan decides how much money is to be spent.
