Some clubs moved to a Friday because they wanted consistency. Some also feel they can sell more corporate hospitality on a Friday evening straight from work than they can on a Sunday afternoon. I'd love to see some proper figures to back that up though, compared to how many "normal" fans may be lost in the short and long term from not being able to go.

Going to be a watch on TV job I think, not going to lose much sleep about missing a trip to Wakefield!
I've booked the afternoon off. It's one of those mad ones. Leave at 5 or 6 and you might/would hit bad traffic at M60 and Leeds. Leave at 4 and you might be there by 5.30. So, have to find a nice quiet pub somewhere for a non-alcoholic cocktail and something to eat.

I can't make this weekends game due to it being on a Saturday, so I've spent the £19 that I won't be spending on an East Stand ticket on adding Sky Sports to my Virgin Media for a month. As a result I get all the other games, including Wakey and the WCC, plus the footie for 'free'. After the month is up I can drop Sky Sports.
I can make arrangements for the odd Friday or Saturday game (such as Saints last week, or wigan in a few months), but otherwise I may well be picking up then dropping Sky Sports several times over the course of the season.

I personally cant wait for the mad dash from Stoke to Bank Quay (quick kiss on the way out for the woman in the shop) and then meeting my Dad at B&Q in Winwick who is going from work in Widnes straight to the match in Wakefield.
