Sounds like he is an overseer, a new roll/position made rather than an actual coaching role.
I don't understand what he'll actually be doing day to day. Does anyone know?

I'm not sure it's a cheap option. It sounds like it's a new role/position rather than him replacing a more highly paid ex-employee.

Welcome home Lee and hope all goes well. Must say, considering these Rovers fans aren't bothered about this appointment they've spent an awfull long time pouring over this thread.

What are the roles of everyone in the Youth set up?
We have Mel Harmon , Andy Last , Steve Crooks and now Lee Crooks as head of Youth . Also isn`t Paul Mcnicholas part of the set up ?

TBF coaching positions at York and Keighley would have been difficult tasks , as for RFL appointments some of those appear to be jobs to allow washed up ex-pro's the opportunity to re-start their lives.

Mel Harmon is a scout and McNichalas is in charge of loading foam footballs into a tube on match days
