One of my old mans favourite ever players. He'll be gutted when he finds out this.

Played for Wigan 1960 to 1964 on the wing scoring 95 tries in 119 matches. Only won at Lancashire League medal at Central Park but did play at Wembley twice for Wigan in two cup final defeats.

Good player for both Wigan and Saints, one of the few to play in CC finals for both teams ( and against each other ), sad news.

I'm sure my Grandad will be telling me a few stories about him for the rest of the week...
