a win for leigh, simple really, like has been said that is assuming nk can get a 17 fit and ready to play, i am sure who ever pulls on the jumper will play with, loads of spirit, committment, and courage, abd do the shirt of leigh proud.

Curiously, Swinton don't have to play their postponed game, until after the group matches have finished. (it's the same with the Skolars) Now maybe they are not considered likely to qualify, in which case they probably won't be made to play the game at all, but that will leave them a damned sight fresher than Leigh, this Sunday. Whitehaven had not wanted to play at York, on Wednesday, as they couldn't get players off work, at short notice. Haven fielded a weakened tem - hence the battering, and Haven's chances of qualifying are now at serious risk.
This happened with Celtic Crusaders last season, as their postponed group game was deemed to be meaningless. (they had already qualified) However, in a competition, should all teams not be treated the same? Not that I would ever wish an injury on anyone, but teams who are told not to play, will not get players injured. Teams who do play, will. Fact, but also unfair!!
