Webbo is a top bloke, as I'm sure you've either worked out or soon will, but when he took the reigns at Rovers, he'll tell you that even though he enjoyed it, he prefers just to get out and play his game without the added pressure.
That said, he is four years older now, and heading possibly towards a coaching career so the Widnes job might just be the one for him to cut his teeth on.
No matter who you get, I wish you all the best as I for one want to see Widnes back up at the top level of rugby league where they belong.
wont mind Paul Cullen as the coach
for one he has warrington playing some good expansive rugby last year which could always attract more fans.
Althought some may argue that he couldn't do much with great players at warrington so what can he do with less talented widnes players, but still he has coached at the top level and for country and also he is a british coach which can only be good for the game

Cullen would be a reasonable bet and is a decent enough coach, kept wire up and progressed them to a certain extent and likes to play attacking rugby. Is also a decent media man. Lives locally so no problem with that one. He's a wire but if he gives his all i dont care.
Jon Sharp is a very good coach. he would get the max out of your players and win the N1 GF.
He is a mile ahead of people like Rhino/Kelly. Hanley has no record of long term club development. Cullen is clueless, if you spend more than anyone in N1 he may get you into the top 4/5.
Surely Stanky should be given a chance. He did alright at Doncaster, he knows the players and the amount of times he's had to do coaching for Ste Mac whilst he stand motionless on sidelines helps his cause.

Apart from us going down
Joking aside...if it was a choice between Hanley or Stnky...go for Hanley everytime, he turned Stanky's team around and restored my faith in the fact that coaches make a difference in Rugby League
