Must admit I thought it was Thackray as well: I was exclaiming how well he'd done to chase the kick down and get a pass away until the very knowledgeable youngster sat in front of me pointed out Thackray walking off with his big coat on! After watching the highlights. The one thing that needs to be sorted out is our lack of pressure we put the kicker under.
If I was Calderwood or Briscoe I'd be mighty pished off with the inside defence for allowing them to pick out individuals.
Smith had all the time in the world to isolate Calderwood, allowing Richards to have the edge.
