Carneys Pint wrote:The finale at Punchestown tommorow is an interesting little heat for many reasons - most of which are listed below. My contact in Ireland is of the opinion that there are several top class Mullins bumper horses and that the Meade mob this year are below par, she rates Quinola Des Obeaux as the top one of those seen out this year though very impressed with Sicilian Secret and as I was particularly with the way he travelled. This fellow is rated on a par with them and here's 3 more reasons why you should back him tommorow.

The race has been run three times (Rockview NH Flat Race) according to the RP Stats. Mullins has the three winners:

2006 - Freds Benefit - won by 15 lengths (18 ran). Ran at Cheltenham 16th of 23. Horses were all wrong that year, Mullins ran 4 and the best he could manage was 12th. SP 20/1

2007 - Fiveforthree - won by 7 lengths (20 ran). Ran 5th of 24 at Cheltenham, beaten 3 lengths and badly hampered by Crocodiles Rock on the home turn. Mullins ran 3 (Cooldine and Mad Fish finished 7th and 8th). SP 16/1

2008 - Cousin Vinny - won by 1 1/4 lengths (20 ran). 1st of 23 at Cheltenham. Beat Corskeage Royale by 3 1/4 lengths. Mullins ran 4 (Lilywhitedancer, Apt Approach and Drive On Regardles who finished 5th, 6th and 20th). SP 12/1

Clearly a race that Mullins targets and the two years that his horses have been fit and healthy he's won it or gone close. Got big prices about Fiveforthree and Freds Benefit BEFORE this race

This year Willie Mullins runs Rinceoir Rua in it - my advice is get down to your local bookmakers and get on for Cheltenham - they might need to ring Head Office for a price, 20's+ and he's most definitely a bet.

Good Luck all

Martin (founder of the Willie Mullins Bumper System)

It's 4/7 on Betfair!.....edit,just realise what you are saying. I thought you meant it would be 20s+ for today. D'oh!

Fame and Glory
Westphalia
Drumbeat
Age of Aquarius

There's more to come and i've been told by a good source that Sirgarfieldsobers is the Ballydoyle Derby horse.

Oh yea he has more than those mentioned in the 2000 Guineas but the chance are a good 6 of them will pull out leaving about 3.
I'm not bad with my 2yo, i bet HenryTheNavigater ante-post for the 2000 Guineas last year after he won the same two races as Mastercraftsman as won this year
Mastercraftsman has form running at Newmarket and has been led up the same path as HenryTheNavigator, i watched him run at the Curragh and he looked immense, Murtagh also speaks highly of him.
Which ever horse Murtagh picks will be the winner imo.

everytime i look at the result of a bumper in ireland a mullins hose seems to win it ridden by his son (presumably) who has an incredible 39% strike rate in ireland this season (next best ruby 20%) for those with over 10 winners  its ok picking a mullins horse in the cheltenham bumper its which 1 to pick

Not sure of the horses birthday but by the time the 2000 Guineas comes around it probably will be 3yo.

Ive had strong word about PEACHEY MOMENT 5:00 DONCASTER.

Just looked at the betting and it was 7/1 this morning it's now 7/2 and could go in more by 5:00.

There are a lot of first runners in the race but the horse mentioned is a half-brother of Theatrical Moment who was a decent bumper horse.

The guy who told me isn't to bad Ive had winners from him but Ive also had losers, it's up to you guys.

Well yes, so people seem to think, it doesn't matter weather the horse is 2yo or 3yo he will still finish the 2000 Guineas in the first 3 (if he runs).
