Obvious 17 well picked above.
On the bench I'd pick Allan over Gibson, I think it would be more useful than having a centre on the bench. If Ablett was in centre it would be a different story.
Either JJB or Ablett at loose, not fussed either way.

Ali will be missed and hopefully hes back for next week, I would agree with Senior to second row in the second half and dependent on the score it could be worth trying Gibson and Watkins together.
I have no probs having Ash in. He is defensivly solid and last week he got better in attack with every ball he received. I would move him to centre and move Senior to 2nd and give Kirke or JJB a rest. You never know... he might start Kirke on the bench with Senor startind 2nd and Ash and Kallum bothe at 3 and 4.

If the idea of these opening three games (as well as picking up the league points) is to build fitness and develop combinations ahead of the WCC, I'd suggest this isn't the time to be tinkering and playing people out of position.
Get the strongest available side on the park and give it some time together.

McClennan can. He said so pre season. He was going to do it in a couple of trials but has never had the players on the park to try it... nows his chance. Plus im still undecided on who I would prefer at Centre for the WCC. Ash needs game time though so I reckon he will be on the bench at least.

At the end of the day I dont really care if we win the WCC or not. Its just a 3rd rate trophy with a nice title to have. I would much prefer different things to be tried now so we can use them if needed when it matters near the end of he season. Plus on last Fridays performance I dont reckon Gibson is too far behing Watkins now.

Not the time though. He's our specialist, old head, centre. Now is not the time for changes. With our injury list, we need as much continuity as possible.

Must admit I thought the injured lads would miraculously find fitness this week as a warm up for the WCC (which I am going to and do care about).

It's a trophy and a hard fought one no matter who or how many people try to play it down just look at last years match to see how fierce the matches can be.
Imo we have earned the right to challenge for this trophy and i for one take it seriously.
Granted i'd rather the super-league title and cc before it but it's a final i definately want to win.
