doesn't that depend on the club? or is they some general arrangement/rule as to releasing playing?

The ones I know have the clause in thier contracts saying they can play for the Uni but the club takes priority if they are playing the same day which is only fair as they are paying them the most money to play.

Record score was Huddersfields 142-4 victory over Blackpool Gladiators in 1994, Record cup score was Huddersfield 119 v Swinton Park 2 in 1914.
We beat Workington 88-6 last season, though to be honest I think we'll get comfortably ahead then use the match to try things out. Though if Fax decide to show a ruthless streak then who knows.
I have never been to a cup game that didn't involve a Superleague side and I am really tempted to go and watch Featherstone v the Army.
The Army RL team get a lot of coverage in Soldier magazine.
They are great ambassadors for the amateur game. They played well in the previous round at Featherstone Lions in very heavy conditions, well organised in defence and patient in attack. The stand-off looked particulary good. They should be a long way from troubling Rovers, but this is the cup, so you never know.
if thats true, then can't see many games being moved grounds. as there's nothing in it for the amateur home club
Even if they play at home ie: Kells v Hunslet, Wath Brow v Skolars the only speccies at these games will be the supporters of the home team.
Who will then be lining the pockets of the pro team.
These games will probably be at `The Recre` and they will have to do all the work to get the game on ie: programmes etc, for no money from the gate.
