He's done the commentary on Cas matches for years. His match calling is a laugh-a-minute if you can understand what he's saying and probably a bit baffling if you can't.
The Mrs was watching coronation farm or something and I was sat in the Kitchen watching the SL tv Highlights laughing out loud. Seriously...they guy is a gem and long may it continue. I will now click the cas home games on SL TV before Quins....he is that good!

I think he's brilliant too. After listening to those bits of commentary a few times I even began to understand it.
The players are all called by a nickname that I guess he invents. So, as well as The Poacher, there was also "Sigh one" (Sione Faumuina) and, the one I really liked (well, I haven't worked out any others yet) James Evans being called Norman, presumably because he shares a surname with this guy.

we need some sort of chas'n'dave team to do the home QRL matches.....
You'd need a cockney rhyming slang translater showing subtitles underneath!
" Cracking brad by Louis....stuck im on is arris...betcha is hamsteads will still be rattling when he gets ohm t'nite!"

I hope Cas can persuade him to take over the Freddie Mercury tribute role:
"Thissen the reel leef?"
Seriously, I'd buy a season's DVD round-up with his commentary.

My other abiding memory of Sunday was the Freddie Mercury lookalike at full volume and the 80's disco, again at full volume at the Early Bath across the road, if you wanted you, you could think Cas was in a time warp!
