Phew - that had me sweating - I've got them back now, I had to go into tools and unblock them!!
It looks like all the rooms underneath the stand are more or less intact - I'm sorry this isn't a great photo but I couldn't get it all in the shot at close range.

Before HP was built Im sure I read somewhere that it was called 'Church Fields' which one would suppose mean just that, my Grandparents used to tell me that there were allotments 'plots' on the site.

yes there were "allotments" on that site,my gran used to live in GLEBE st but i never knew it as church fields? i do remember when HP was built and being used she used to open her back yard for speccies to park thier BIKES in a penny a game as i recall.
you could have sold them seats to a cricket team.I dont no if this happend but did they not let the fans in and take what they wanted like when we left our HOME.

Hilton Park was ownded by Grundy Hill Estates, so it wasn't the club's call.
